Budget and funding

The total cost of O2GEN project amounts to 11.8 million euros.

O2GEN is a collaborative project co-financed by the European Union under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), being the EU contribution of 6.6 million euros.

O2GEN was favourably evaluated under a call opened within the Seventh Framework Programme, topic ENERGY.2011. 5&6. 2-1 “Optimising the integration of CO2 capture into power plants”.

This EU co-financing is based on Grant Agreement no. 295533, signed between the project consortium and the European Commission.
